[AWS] free tier 회원가입 후 1달러 과금, EC2 추후 1달러 추가과금

안녕하세요. AWS free tier promotion으로 가입 후 1달러 과금이 되었는데 (6월 11일)

EC2 생성 후 추가로 1$가 과금되었어요

I’m sorry for any concern the $1 USD Authorizations you noted on your message may have caused. But don't worry, I'll be happy to help on this!

 

When you create a new AWS account (or update/add a new card), we contact your issuing bank for authorization to confirm that your card is valid, and hasn't been reported lost or stolen. On this case, that would be the first authorization request. After this, depending on the Service that you may want to use, it will also require additional verification (as noted on a message sent on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 ), why?

 

While new accounts are under the Free Tier promotion, there are AWS Services that are not covered by the promo and will have their respective on-demand rates applying, therefore, creating a bill that will eventually be charged.

 

Having said that, rest assured, we don’t proceed with the charge; the authorization is a security measure we use to protect our customers.

 

The authorization should drop off of the account within a few business days (generally 3-5 business days), however, please keep in mind that some banks may hold those funds longer depending on their policies. We are unable to issue refunds as there is no actual transaction on our end, so we recommend contacting your bank about the authorization if you do not see a change in your statement after several business days.

1. 왜 2번 결제되는가?  :

가입시 최초한번 검증을 위해 결제 &

각각의 AWS 서비스 사용시 free tier로 보장되지 않는 부분이 있어 결제된것

2. 돈이 빠져나간거아니냐? :

허가는 영업일 기준 3-5일에 취소돼야하지만 은행마다 차이는 있다. 3-5일 이후에도 취소가 안됐을경우 AWS는 실제 최종 거래가 없었기 때문에 환불발행이 불가하니 직접 은행에 문의하는걸 추천한다.

2주정도 지나서 계좌로 환불받았어요. 걱정안하셔도 될것 같습니다!!
